SAN FRANCISCO – A dominant all-around showing fueled the Golden State Warriors Gold to a 98-69 victory over the San Antonio Spurs in a 2026 California Classic Summer League matchup at Chase Center on Sunday.

Lachlan Olbrich led the Gold with 13 points off the bench, adding four assists and three rebounds. Deivon Smith and Chance McMillian followed with matching 12-point efforts, and Smith also recorded six rebounds, four assists and two steals.

The Gold wasted no time setting the tone, going on a 13-6 run over the final 4:58 of the opening period and building a 45-26 lead by halftime. Golden State added another seven points to its advantage in the third quarter, making the final period a virtual formality.

Warriors Gold unsurprisingly shined across the stat sheet, generating a 50-30 scoring edge in the paint and outpacing San Antonio by a 30-12 margin in points off turnovers.

Rookie first-round pick Yaxel Lendeborg put together a second consecutive impressive performance, turning in 11 points, eight rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal. LJ Cryer furnished 10 points, two boards, two assists and one steal.

Emanuel Miller paced the Spurs with 12 points and also managed six rebounds, two assists and two steals. Hyunjung Lee supplied 11 points and two rebounds.

Rookie second-round pick Ja’Kobi Gillespie finished with nine points, four assists, two rebounds and one block. Fellow second-rounder Maliq Brown had two points, four rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block despite playing 23 minutes, while first-round picks Jayden Quaintance and Tarris Reed Jr. did not play.

Both teams are back in action Monday for the final night of California Classic play, with the Gold facing the Heat (10 ET; Prime Video, ESPN+ & NBA TV) and the Spurs tipping off against the Lakers (7:30 ET; Prime Video & ESPN U) earlier in the evening.
